Who we are
Azata is booking software for small businesses. This policy explains how Azata (placeholder entity) ("Azata", "we", "us") handles personal data when you use our website and booking service.
For bookings made through a business's public page, that business decides why your data is collected and is the controller of your booking. Azata processes that data on the business's behalf and as the operator of the platform.
Information we collect
Business accounts: the name, email address, and password you provide when you sign up, along with the business details you add — business name, services, working hours, and team members.
Customers booking an appointment: your name and the phone number or email you enter, together with the service, specialist, and time you choose. No customer account is required — bookings are made as a guest.
Technical data: basic request and device information (such as IP address and browser) collected automatically to keep the service secure and working.
How we use your information
To provide the booking service — creating, confirming, and managing appointments and preventing double-booking.
To send you booking-related messages — confirmations, changes, cancellations, and reminders — by email or messaging channels such as Telegram.
To secure the service, prevent abuse, and comply with our legal obligations.
Legal basis for processing
We process personal data under the Republic of Armenia's Law on the Protection of Personal Data.
For visitors in the European Union and the diaspora, we apply GDPR-aligned bases: performance of a booking you request, your consent where required, and our legitimate interest in operating and securing the service.
Sharing and third-party processors
We share data with service providers who help us run Azata: hosting and database infrastructure, and messaging providers used to deliver notifications (for example, Telegram).
Booking details are shared with the business you book with, so they can serve your appointment.
We do not sell your personal data.
Data retention
We keep booking records for as long as the business account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution needs.
We delete or anonymise personal data when it is no longer needed, or earlier on a valid request.
Your rights
You may request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, or restriction of processing, and you may object to certain processing.
To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@azata.example. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International data transfers
Some of our processors may store or process data outside the Republic of Armenia. Where this happens, we take steps to ensure a comparable level of protection for your data.
Children's privacy
Azata is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us at privacy@azata.example and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version and its effective date are shown at the top of this page.
